The simplicity of your statement is wonderful. We lose our clarity easily when we complicate everything.

I used to work for a brilliant Israeli guy in Europe. When he spoke to me in theories and jargon, I'd say "Ehud...Pretend I'm 8yo and tell me what you're trying to tell me". He had kids, so he got it. He'd them simplify his statement and clarify things for both of us๐Ÿ˜‰

Your statement reminds me of that process. You took the time to explain your choices/life to yourself and now you have clarity and peace with yourself๐Ÿ˜‡

Always great to read your posts. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thank you ๐Ÿ™. I deeply appreciate this and your being here.

I just sent someone with a rather myopic perspective to check out you Substack as a mind broadening exercise๐Ÿ˜‰. Hopefully, you'll still appreciate me after dealing with that situation (if the person actally follows follows through)๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜….

Keep up the great work, and continue to inspire ๐Ÿ™

You have discovered the meaning and purpose of life. This is a discovery that Christians need to make too. And Muslims. Love the Creator, love neighbors. Itโ€™s pretty simple really. Thanks for what youโ€™re doing.

๐Ÿ™‡. Thank you

Thank you Daniel.

I really enjoy your posts, you examine all your received wisdoms and make them your own.

If we all did this, there could be no more conflict.

For, as you say, we'd then discover that we are all God's children.

I love you, because we share the same being, no matter your manifestation here.

I may not like how other behave, I may even abhor it.

Like and Disliking are choices of the mind.

Love makes no choices

Neither does god.

The infinity of awareness, which is another name for god is what we are

It has, as infinity is, the potential to manifest all there is and more.

That said

All there is, shares the same being.

Godโ€™s being.

The only blasphemy there is, is not recognising our true nature.

Then acting in brutality against my self, or that we call others, of which there is none.

Only a limited mind sees separation.

Only awareness could contract within itself, to manifest its infinite potential.

As long as we do not know what we are, we brutalise, by thought, then action within fear, all we see as separate.

That is the ignorance we live.

True Christians know that He gave us the New Covenant that says NO chosen people. Read Galatians 3:25-28. If blowing up things AS AGRESSOR is the only way they can 'believe" they are not true believers. Armageddon comes on Gods time, not mans. We have to wake up the Hegseths and Huckabees before they kill billions for God when it might just be Satan himself.

Power and wealth seeking Jews and Christians keep forgetting the 10 commandments of Moses...No killing, no lying about neighbors, no covering neighbor's wife and goods, no stealing....Oops ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…

And as any study of anthropology, history and religion shows, such beliefs have been common in most humans. The concept of being unique, the only humans, the only true humans, superior to all others can be found in many primitive cultures.

The real question is why did Judaism never grow out of it and why did so many Jews support such a childish and barbaric belief in the name of Israel and of Jews.

MNT's avatar

Oh lots of cultures and subculture never grew out of it๐Ÿซค. If I had a dollar for every person who told me their cultures was superior I'd be a multi millionaire๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

For example: See how some Muslim tribes practice fmg in some countries as a sign of their superiority. Any woman that hasn't had it done is considered of inferior status akin to non clan/tribe members. There are tons of other examples.

It's kinda sad really. No kid is born that way. They learn from others.

Roslyn Ross's avatar

There is a difference between believing your culture is superior and believing that you and your group are the first humans, the true humans, the superior humans.

Female circumcision is not Islamic but cultural. Christians in Africa do it. Most Muslims do not do it.

And yes, we learn from others.

Hi Daniel, Thank-you for being here. "We are all sons of God," If only Zionist Christians and some Jewish people in USA could see this. I am heartbroken that my grandparent's dreams have turned into the annihilation and violence against the Palestinians and now Iranians and Lebanese people.
