I Am God's Son
On blasphemy
“You are sons of the Lord your God.” - Deuteronomy 14:1
“I said, you are gods, you are all sons of the Most High.” - Psalm 82:6
“Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, I am God’s Son?” - John 10:36
The system labels the claim “I am God’s son” as blasphemy. Because if it is true for one person, it is true for every person. And if it is true for every person, the system of authority has no justification.
When recognizing my own nature became a transgression, I looked for answers about who I was and what I was, in the temple, the parliament, the authority figures.
The soldier. The settler. The husband. When I didn’t know who I was, I followed orders, dehumanized, and betrayed my loved ones. When I was disconnected from myself, I was disconnected from everything.
When I recognized what I was, I could finally see it in others.
Parents don’t have chosen children.
We are all sons of God.

The simplicity of your statement is wonderful. We lose our clarity easily when we complicate everything.
I used to work for a brilliant Israeli guy in Europe. When he spoke to me in theories and jargon, I'd say "Ehud...Pretend I'm 8yo and tell me what you're trying to tell me". He had kids, so he got it. He'd them simplify his statement and clarify things for both of us😉
Your statement reminds me of that process. You took the time to explain your choices/life to yourself and now you have clarity and peace with yourself😇
Always great to read your posts. 😊
You have discovered the meaning and purpose of life. This is a discovery that Christians need to make too. And Muslims. Love the Creator, love neighbors. It’s pretty simple really. Thanks for what you’re doing.
